Motorsports has played a huge role in my life since I watched my first NASCAR race in 2011. It was one of the few things in life that were stable AND that I easily understood – a huge plus for a military child.
As I grew and followed more sports, I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in sports. I’ve spent two seasons working in the MiLB and one season working in the SPHL, allowing me to have a diverse experience across different sporting leagues. I currently serve as a scorekeeper for the City of Fayetteville Department of Parks and Recreation.
During my tenure with The Voice, I’ve written more than 20 articles and interviewed students, athletes and local figures. Following a promotion to Sports Editor in January 2025, I’d contribute to the editing of nearly 50 sports articles to ensure they met AP standard.
In May 2026, I was elected to serve as the Editor-in-Chief for the 2026-2027 academic year.
